There is just too much new to learn. It can be difficult to work your way through hierarchical Bayes choice modeling. Hierarchical Bayesian estimation is a complex but powerful approach of modeling data sets to yield more precise and granular analysis. There are a number of books on the subject and I've picked up a few in the last 2 months. His best-known work is Data Analysis: A Bayesian Tutorial published in 1996. If nothing else, one gets lost in all ways that choice data can be collected and analyzed. The only caveat being it is probably more than a few minutes to get familiar with it unless you can find a canned script or tutorial that does exactly what you want. Here, we introduce a hierarchical Bayesian approach to count data. Stan has all the generality and ease of use of BUGS, and can solve the multilevel generalized linear models described in Part II of the book Data Analysis Using Regression and Multilevel/Hierarchical Models. Many ecological studies use the analysis of count data to arrive at biologically meaningful inferences.
